Description
This custom half-cab 1966 Ford Bronco is powered by a Gen 4 Ford Coyote 5.0-liter crate engine paired with a Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission and a 2024 Ford electronic transfer case with push-button operation. The fuel system uses a new 23-gallon tank, an in-tank 340gph fuel pump, an adjustable fuel-pressure regulator and braided-steel fuel lines. A dual 3-inch exhaust feeds a single MagnaFlow muffler with a single exhaust pipe exiting at the passenger rear. The original frame is powder-coated satin black and is set up for the factory suspension configuration. The front suspension uses coil springs and Bilstein shocks with a 2.5-inch lift, heavy-duty radius arms, new hardware and bushings. The rear has leaf springs, Bilstein shocks and a 2.5-inch lift with new hardware and mounts. A new Dana 44 front axle has 4.10 gears, while the new Ford 9-inch rear axle uses 4.11 gears. Steering consists of an Ididit satin black steering column with an integrated shift cable, new U-joints and steering shaft, a quick-ratio Borgeson steering box and a nine-bolt steering wheel. Hydro-boost hydraulic power brakes include 3,000-psi braided-steel steering lines, new brake lines and fittings, rotors, Wilwood red six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, and a Wilwood master cylinder. The Bronco rides on Ion 171 wheels with 35-inch BFGoodrich mud tires. The new Ford-licensed body retains original fenders painted black, with the engine bay painted in the body color. The floor and underside are finished in Raptor Liner. Exterior details include a two-tone grille with body color and Wimbledon White, chrome and red grille lettering, Wimbledon White Ford tailgate lettering, a Wimbledon White half-cab hardtop, chrome trim, matching emblems, headlight rings, door handles, a tailgate handle, license-plate holder, vent windows, gas cap and bumpers. An LED lighting package includes headlights, turn signals and taillights. The custom leather interior has a diamond/vertical pleat stitch pattern, front bucket seats, a rear bench, matching dash pad, kick panels, door panels, rear panels and a center console with locking lid. Sound-deadening material is covered with loop carpet. Equipment includes a Dakota Digital RTX factory-style gauge cluster, air conditioning with integrated dash vents and a four-speaker stereo with a JVC 7-inch CarPlay head unit mounted in the leather-wrapped center console. New hardware, seals and gaskets are included.
