Description
This 1966 Ford F-250 Custom Camper Special pickup was produced at the San Jose assembly plant for delivery to the Los Angeles district. It was initially purchased by Mobil Oil for use as a fleet vehicle, and it retains the Pegasus graphics that were applied during that time. It was reportedly purchased by its previous owner from the company and kept under their care until the seller’s 2020 purchase. Since then, the suspension, brakes, and ignition components were refreshed, the carburetor was rebuilt, and the alternator was replaced. It is powered by a 352ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Wimbledon White over blue vinyl. Features include 16″ steel wheels, a Wilwood brake master cylinder, a Holley carburetor, electronic ignition, and upgraded audio components. This F-250 was purchased by the seller in 2020 and is now offered at no reserve with a truck cover and a California title in the seller’s name. The truck wears worn Wimbledon White paintwork with faded red Mobil Pegasus graphics on the doors. Detailed photos of the exterior, including the extent of corrosion present, have been provided in the gallery. Photos of the bed depict a motorcycle mount installed, though it is not included in the sale.
