Under the hood lies the beating heart of this automotive titan—a 427 Stroker V8 w/ 427 Rotating Assembly & 351 Dart Bored Block, delivering an exhilarating 585 horsepower. The engine build receipts, totaling over $25,000, bear witness to the dedication invested in crafting this powerhouse. The aluminum monocoque chassis, billet aluminum rear chassis brace, and front and rear body mounting structure showcase the commitment to authenticity and craftsmanship. Every detail of this masterpiece has been carefully considered and meticulously implemented, from the Stack Fuel Injection MPF1 system to the left-hand drive configuration. The DOM street-spec roll hoop, billet aluminum suspension components, and custom rack and pinion steering unit ensure both performance and safety on the road or track. The RCR40's stopping power is equally impressive, with six-piston front brake calipers, four-piston rear brake calipers, and 11.75" x 1.25" vented rotors. The BRM pin-drive wheels, 15" x 8" front and 15" x 10" rear, wrapped in a Tri-Wing Spinner and Adapter Package, complete the iconic GT40 look. Inside the cockpit, the driver is greeted by a 200 MPH GPS-based speedometer, 8,000 RPM tachometer, fuel level gauges, voltmeter, and more—all monitored from the vintage-style steering wheel. The pair of leather GT40 stainless steel grommet seats provide both comfort and a connection to the racing heritage. This RCR40 has been titled as a reconstructed classic car, urging you to explore its prowess while adhering to local and state laws. Recent tuning and a four-wheel alignment by Pocono Sportscars LLC ensure peak performance on any road or track. Notably, the RCR40 holds a special place in automotive history, as the Ford vs. Ferrari movie chose RCR to build 28 cars for what has become the reference movie for the GT40. Whether cruising the streets or dominating the track, the RCR40 promises an unforgettable driving experience. As you take in the exceptional build, it's essential to note that the body may show minor flaws, as revealed in the included photos.
