Description
I bought this car over three years ago in the town I live in. Prior owners had it for 15 years and had a bunch of receipts from the owner before them. This is a rust free car that has lived in a garage for at least the last 18 years. It was a secretary's car when I bought it with a 2v and worn out 302, c4 and open differential. It was a good looking car except for there luggage rack. Fast forward. I rebuilt the engine, it's a 306 making somewhere around 350HP to the rear wheels. There a t5 behind it putting power top a tru trac 3.55. The front suspension is 100% street or track, the steering is manual and it has a new box, all steering components are brand new except the drag link. The rear suspension is updated and refreshed. New leafs, 1" lowing block, bilsteins shocks, mike maier inc panhard bar. I built this car with the idea of a track car or an autocross car, I've never done either. This car is what my perfect cat would be, power, suspension, color, everything, it's perfect...but, I found a fastback and I can't afford both. There is well over $20,000 in bolt on parts on this car. I'd like to sell it, it's a cool car. If I can't sell it, it will return to it's prior form a stock c code, albeit a pretty nice one and all the bolt ons go on the fastback. Someone please save me a lot of work;) All kidding aside this is a really cool car and I can't go anywhere without people coming over to look at it. The driving experience is cool, it's very steetable but capable of turning into a stock car with just the touch ofd the throttle. Stops on a dime and carves corners like no other. The car sits very low. but everything is pretty adjustable. Come check it out.
