1966 Ford Mustang coupe

This 1966 Ford Mustang is powered by a 5.0-liter HO V-8 engine sourced from a Fox Body Mustang, paired with a Ford AOD automatic transmission from the same donor vehicle. The engine retains its factory electronic control unit and fuel-injection system. This Mustang underwent a complete ground-up restoration that was completed in late August 2026. The detailed undercarriage features all-new suspension components and a new power steering system with new lines and pump. Braking is handled by new Wilwood front disc brakes. The exterior is finished in Ivy Green Metallic with show-quality paint over laser-straight body panels. All questionable metal was replaced during the restoration, leaving the body free of rust and filler. Exterior equipment includes all-new chrome, trim, weatherstripping and glass, along with new 17-inch Legend wheels wrapped in new tires. The completely redone interior features new carpeting, door panels and Fox Body Mustang seats. All interior trim has been replaced, including handles, bezels, knobs and switches. The dashboard and gauges are new and have been integrated to operate with the 5.0-liter HO engine. A new Custom Autosound stereo retains the original appearance while incorporating modern audio functionality. The vehicle has accumulated only test miles since the restoration was completed.
