Description
This 1967 427 Roadster re-creation is powered by a custom-built 351ci Ford V8 engine rated at 450hp, equipped with MSD ignition and a 750cfm Holley 4-barrel performance carburetor. Power is delivered through a C6 heavy-duty automatic transmission to a Ford 9-inch posi-traction rear end. The car is fitted with a Mustang II suspension and a B&M Pro Stick shifter. It is finished in silver paint with black stripes and features a black interior with a wood-grain dash signed by Carroll Shelby. Instrumentation is provided by a Stewart-Warner gauge panel. The paintwork was performed by Al Nakata, who was the original painter contracted by Shelby American to complete and finish the bodies of the first six Carroll Shelby continuation cars in the late 1990s.
