A Florida car that has been owned by the same enthusiast for the past 15 years, it retains its factory-correct Bolero Red exterior with a contrasting White convertible top, along with its original-style Black Strato bucket seat interior. With 75,971 miles shown, this Camaro presents an excellent opportunity to own a well-preserved example of one of Chevrolet's most iconic muscle cars.At the heart of this Camaro is its numbers-matching 350ci/295hp V8, paired with a desirable Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and center console. The car is equipped with the factory 4P SS350 Package, featuring the L48 350ci V8, as well as the 3L Rally Sport Package. Power steering adds to its drivability, while upgraded valve covers and an air cleaner provide a tasteful touch under the hood without detracting from the car's overall original character. The combination of an SS350, Rally Sport, four-speed, and convertible body makes this a particularly desirable configuration. The factory documentation encoded in the VIN and cowl tag further confirms the car's impressive pedigree. Built at the Norwood, Ohio assembly plant in the second week of December 1966, it carries a factory E-code Black interior with Custom Black Strato Bucket Seats without headrests. The R-1 paint code specifies Bolero Red with a White convertible top, while the cowl tag confirms the Rally Sport Package, SS350 Package, tinted windshield, four-speed manual transmission with center console, large rear bumper guards, and deluxe seat belts. These details make the car especially interesting to collectors seeking a correctly equipped early Camaro.Visually, the combination of Bolero Red paint, White convertible top, and Black interior gives this Camaro the classic late-1960s muscle car appearance. The RS package adds the distinctive styling cues that made the first-generation Camaro so recognizable, while the SS350 equipment gives the car the performance credentials enthusiasts expect. Inside, the factory-style Black Strato bucket seats and console create an authentic cockpit, with the four-speed shifter serving as a constant reminder that this is a true driver's car.For the collector, this 1967 Camaro SS/RS Convertible checks many of the boxes that make a first-year Camaro desirable: early production, desirable SS350 and Rally Sport packages, numbers-matching V8, Muncie four-speed, factory-correct colors, documented cowl tag codes, and long-term ownership. Combined with its Florida history and highly original presentation, it offers an appealing blend of authenticity, performance, and open-air enjoyment. With just 75,971 miles shown, this first-year Camaro is a compelling example of Chevrolet's answer to the emerging pony car market and a standout addition to any collection.
