1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 6-Speed

This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was acquired by the owner in 1985 and later modified with a 541ci Brodix aluminum V8 dyno-tested to produce over 700 horsepower and lb-ft of torque. The car was refinished in yellow over black in the mid-1990s, a Tremec six-speed manual transmission was installed in 2006, and the engine was installed in 2012. Additional equipment includes dual Edelbrock electronic fuel injection units, a Postraction differential, a black convertible soft top, a Stinger hood, bolt-on 15″ turbine-style wheels, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, power-assisted steering, Bilstein dampers, side-exit exhaust pipes, Vintage Air climate control, an Antique Automobile Radio stereo, and a McIntosh amplifier. This modified C2 convertible is now offered on dealer consignment with service records and a clean California title. The fiberglass body was stripped and refinished in yellow between 1995 and 1997, and the black soft top was replaced during the same time period. Exterior details include a Stinger-style hood with a black stripe, retractable headlights, chrome split bumperettes, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and a side-exit exhaust system with heat shields. Fiberglass stress cracks are visible at the corner of the left headlight opening and along the rear edge of the hood scoop.
