Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was refurbished and modified in 2016, reportedly for sports-car racer Michael Levitas. The car is powered by a 572ci crate V8 paired with a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission, and it rides on a Street Shop chassis equipped with C6 Corvette suspension components, a Dana Super 44 rear differential with a Wavetrac limited-slip unit, QA1 coilovers, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. Additional equipment includes 18″ and 19″ C6-style wheels, mini-tubbed rear wheel arches, a Holley 800-cfm carburetor, headers, a 3″ Borla exhaust system, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, electric headlight motors, LED exterior lighting, and a Kenwood stereo connected to an aftermarket sound system. Acquired by the seller in 2023, work under current ownership has included replacing valve train components and servicing the transmission as well as the water pump, clutch assembly, front control arms, power steering pump, and steering wheel. This modified C2 is now offered in Colorado with service records and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC. The fiberglass body was delivered from the factory in Silver Pearl and has been refinished in black. The rear was mini-tubbed to accommodate larger wheels. LED lights were installed, and the retractable headlights received electric motors. Additional features include a blue-striped stinger-style hood, curved glass rear window, a domed hood, chrome split bumperettes, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and dual exhaust tips.
