Description
The second-generation Chevrolet Nova combined compact dimensions, light weight construction, and straightforward mechanicals in a package that quickly earned a reputation for strong performance potential. Its low curb weight and large engine bay made the Nova a favorite among muscle car enthusiasts, who found it capable of accommodating a wide range of powertrain options. As a result, the Nova became one of the most popular foundations for custom Pro Street, drag-oriented, and restomod builds, a reputation it continues to hold today.
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova is a heavily-modified custom build reportedly built by the seller's grandfather and featuring a supercharged V8 mounted in a purpose-built chassis. Promax fiberglass body work is finished in two-tone red and silver, and the car rides on a full-length Promax frame while retaining stock-style Nova proportions and a 110-inch wheelbase. Additional features include a custom tan and beige leather interior with ostrich accents, four-wheel Baer disc brakes, a modern rack-and-pinion steering system, a custom audio system, staggered-width aluminum wheels wrapped in Hoosier tires, and much more.
The seller states that this Nova features a highly-modified drivetrain and chassis configuration, including a heavy-duty rear axle assembly, extensive frame reinforcement, wheel tubs, and Pro Street-inspired suspension modifications.
