Description
This 1967 Ford Fairlane was purchased by the current owner in 2011 following work that is said to include overhauling the 289ci V8 that was overbored and equipped with 351-specification cylinder heads, flat-top pistons, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and a Summit Racing four-barrel carburetor. The three-speed automatic transmission was fitted with a shift kit and is linked to a limited-slip differential. The car remained off the road for several years until service was performed in preparation for the sale, which involved replacing the battery, starter solenoid, and fuel. It rides on American Racing wheels and has front disc brakes, a front anti-sway bar, and bench seating with aftermarket covers. This Fairlane is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with a clean California title in the owner’s name. Finished from the factory in Light Blue, the car was repainted in its current shade of white under prior ownership. Features include stacked headlights, chrome bumpers, 289 badging, and dual exhaust outlets. The windshield wipers are missing, and a dent on the left quarter panel and areas of rust are shown in the gallery below.
