1967 Ford Mustang Base

This is an original 67 GTA convertible finished in its original interior/exterior color combination – Candy Apple Red over red interior – with a white power top. The engine and transmission appear to be original to the car based upon date stamps on the block and heads. This is a very classy car that looks amazing. The GTA package really makes this car stand out and has a very unique look. 1967 is the first year for a big block Mustang, and the GTA designation was a one-year only option. Along with the GTA & 390 options, this car has a center console, power disc brakes and power steering, along with a power top.

The body of the car is currently straight, but there will be rust repairs required prior to making this a reliable chassis. The floor pans need to be replaced. The inner portion of the trunk floor should be replaced as well. There will also be some torque box repairs needed. The rockers will also need some attention but appear to be repairable. The engine bay panels are solid and the shock towers are solid. Currently, the Mustang has the rear axle removed, along with the engine, transmission, and interior. The doors were removed and braces installed so that floor pan removal could begin. That’s about where I left off. I had the car on a rotisserie at one point and have been unable to get back to work on it. The photos that show the doors removed and braces installed are the current photos. I’m considering any reasonable offer over $14,000. The rotisserie could be included in the sale if you’re interested. Also, I can put the axle back on the car to make it a roller. This is a complete car – the engine, transmission, interior, and some new parts are included with the sale.
