1967 Ford Mustang Coupe A-Code 289

This 1967 Ford Mustang coupe was originally specified in Wimbledon White with a red interior, wheel covers, power steering and front disc brakes, the Exterior Decor Group, air conditioning, and an A-code 289ci V8 linked to a C-4 automatic. It was acquired by the seller in 2017 and underwent restorative work in 2018, and it is now powered by a replacement 289ci Challenger Special V8 with a four-barrel carburetor and a replacement three-speed automatic transmission, both rebuilt in 2017. Suspension, interior, and paintwork were also performed, with more than $8,600 reportedly spent on more than 270 replacement parts, seals, and chrome components. This Mustang is now offered with an Elite Marti Report and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Wimbledon White (M) and hood vents and tinted glass. The seller states that the car spent most of its life in Nevada before being brought to the Chicago area by the previous owner. The right-rear quarter panel was replaced under previous ownership after a large dent, and the seller replaced the front valance and repainted the car. All old seam sealer and weatherstripping were replaced, and new drip-check material was installed in the roof gutters.
