Description
This 1967 Ford Mustang fastback was built by the current owner in the 2010s as a tribute to the star vehicle “Eleanor” featured in the 2000 version of the film Gone in 60 Seconds . Power comes from a Windsor-based 418ci V8 equipped with forged internals, aluminum heads, and a Holley carburetor, and it is linked to a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end with a 3.73 Truetrac differential. The car rides on TCI front and rear suspension with coilovers, rack-and-pinion steering, 17″ alloy wheels, and Baer four-wheel disc brakes, and the Dynacorn steel body is finished in Pepper Grey Metallic with black stripes and a GT500E body kit. The interior is trimmed in black leather and features Procar bucket seats, a two-point roll bar, a Shelby-style wood-rimmed steering wheel, AutoMeter instrumentation, and air conditioning. This modified Mustang fastback is now offered by the seller in Canada on behalf of the current owner with records and Ontario registration in the seller’s name. The body is a steel Dynacorn replacement and has been fitted with a fiberglass Aeroform Eleanor-style bodykit. The exterior is finished in Pepper Grey Metallic with painted black stripes, and details include a bulged hood with exposed locks as well as center-mounted fog lights, side-exit exhaust outlets, a bullet-style side mirror, a polished fuel filler cap, a rear spoiler, and sequential taillights. The seller notes paint chips all around the body.
