1967 Lincoln Continental

DescriptionThis 1967 Lincoln Continental sedan was initially ordered by Main Lincoln Mercury of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, and is said to have been in long-term storage before the seller’s 2024 acquisition. Subsequent work included recharging the air conditioning, mounting white-stripe tires, overhauling the brakes, and replacing the exhaust system, timing gear, water pump, and ignition components. Finished in Silver Mist Metallic over red vinyl and cloth upholstery, the car is powered by a 462ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black vinyl roof, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, a power-adjustable front bench, power windows, and an AM radio. This Continental sedan is now offered with an Elite Marti Report, a reproduction window sticker, service records, and a clean California title. The car is finished in Silver Mist, and evidence of older bodywork is reported on the right-front fender and left-rear quarter panel. Details include a black vinyl roof, quad headlights, rear coach doors, a retractable antenna. The 15" steel wheels wear polished covers and are mounted with Tornel Classic white-stripe tires that were installed in February 2024. The car is equipped with power steering, and the brake system was overhauled in March 2024 with a replacement master cylinder, booster, hoses, and shoes. The steering box was rebuilt in June 2024. The cabin houses bench seating upholstered in red vinyl and cloth with stylized Lincoln logo accents on the seatbacks. Amenities include a power-adjustable front bench seat, power windows and locks, an AM radio, and air conditioning. The air conditioning system was reportedly recharged with R12 refrigerant in preparation for the sale. The analog clock was rebuilt and the power window system was serviced in March 2024. The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 21,900 miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The 462ci V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 340 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque. A metal timing gear and chain were installed in March 2024, and further work included replacing the water pump, spark plugs, ignition components, and radiator overflow tank. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed Select-Shift automatic transmission and an open differential with 2.80:1 gears. The exhaust system was replaced in preparation for the sale. The Elite Marti Report includes a reproduction window sticker, a warranty tag, build statistics, and factory equipment. A shop manual and service records are also included in the sale. An additional $9,000 was just spent on braking system and other small miscellaneous repairs. $29,900 Vehicle is on consignment at Gold Country Classic Cars.
