1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL Pagoda

This Mercedes 250SL Pagoda was originally titled in Germany in November, 1967 and was imported to the USA in 1974. “Adelaide” was owned by a Princeton Professor until September, 2011. He had a complete restoration done by Horvath’s Restoration, San Antonio, TX from June 1987 thru November, 1988. A binder is retained containing detailed pictures, descriptive letters and invoices. In September, 2011 the car was sold to a school administrator in River Edge, NJ who retained ownership until November, 2015. We acquired this beautiful 250SL in November, 2015 and have enjoyed her till present. A restoration update was performed from December, 2015 thru February, 2016, with pictures and records of completed work. Since the restoration update, she has been spectacularly presented by a wedding planner in two weddings for photo opportunities and was featured in an article in the Cottage Hill wedding magazine. She was presented and accepted for competition in the 2017 Pinehurst Concourse d’Elegance. A 1st place trophy was won at the Petty Celebration of Speed at the GAA show event in summer 2018. In 2024 she was presented the Sponsor's Choice Award at the Lion's Club Auto Show held at the Kernersville Auto Museum, Kernersville NC.
