1967 Volkswagen Beetle

This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle was purchased by its current owner in 2019 and subsequently underwent a three-year refurbishment that reportedly included repairing the chassis and body, repainting the car in red, and fitting a replacement 1.5-liter flat-four. The interior received replacement carpeting and gray leatherette upholstery, and other work is said to have involved rewiring the car, resealing the steering box, and replacing the drum brakes and exhaust system. The 15″ steel wheels were refinished, and the car also has a four-speed manual transaxle, an adjustable EMPI front beam, a sunroof, chrome bumpers, a cabin heater, front bucket seats, and front and rear seat belts. This Beetle is offered by the seller on behalf of its owner with a clean Washington title in the owner’s name. The car is said to have been sandblasted, repaired, and fitted with a replacement firewall, floor pans, heater channels, and rear fenders before being resealed and refinished in a hue described by the seller as Guards Red. Exterior details include a sunroof, dual side mirrors, and chrome bumpers and trim. The seller notes blemishes under the deck lid and on the front-left fender.
