1968 Chevrolet Caprice Custom Coupe

This custom 1968 Chevrolet Caprice is powered by a supercharged LSA V-8 engine paired with a GM 4L85E automatic transmission. Power is delivered through a Ford 9-inch rear end equipped with Moser 3.73 gears, while a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers handles spent gases. The chassis features a Ridetech suspension system and Baer brakes, and the Caprice rides on staggered 18-inch front and 20-inch rear Boze V12 wheels wrapped in 225/40 front and 285/40 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. Designed by Pfaff Designs and built by Weaver Customs, the project was completed in 2017. The exterior is finished in a custom Axalta Iced Green Dream and Blackened Green Pearl color combination, complemented by brushed-nickel-finished brightwork completed by Ogden Chrome. JW Speaker headlights provide updated lighting. The custom interior by JS Customs and Hydes Leather features Dakota Digital instrumentation, Vintage Air climate control and a Kicker audio system. An Optima battery provides electrical power. The Caprice has appeared at the SEMA Show, Detroit Autorama, Hot Rod Power Tour and other automotive events, and has been featured in several automotive publications.
