1968 Chevrolet Corvette Base

This Vette is #463 out of the 18,630 convertibles built for 1968. It was built on September 18, 1967 during the first year of production for the C3 Corvettes. Virtually everything except the frame and body have been replaced during its restoration. The car is completely stock on the outside (with the exception of radial tires). The interior enjoys two worthwhile modifications, the addition of a tilt column and a BlueTooth sound system. The motor is a crate BluePrint engine (350/390) with less than 2K miles on it. The vacuum system for the headlights and wiper door have been replaced by upgraded electrical operation. An aluminum Be Cool radiator keeps the operating temperature at a nice level. The rebuilt 4 speed Muncie transmission is period correct and the rebuilt 10 bolt rear is original. Suspension, brakes, wiring have all been replaced. The glass is new with correct date coding.
