Description
This 1968 Chrysler 300 convertible was sold new by Dahl Motors of Erie, Pennsylvania, and is said to have remained with its second owner for nearly six decades before being acquired from their estate by the selling dealer in 2026. It is finished in metallic blue with a black convertible top and a blue vinyl boot cover, and power is provided by a 440ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes rear fender skirts, full wheel covers, power-assisted brakes, power steering, and cabin appointments consisting of blue vinyl front bucket seats, power windows, an 8-track tape player, a push-button AM/FM radio, and air conditioning. This 300 convertible is now offered by the selling dealer with a dealer invoice, a service manual, a broadcast sheet, and a Pennsylvania title. The car is one of 2,161 300 convertibles built for the model year and left the factory finished in Mist Blue Metallic (DD1), and it is believed to have been repainted approximately 30 years ago. Exterior details include a replacement power-operated black convertible top, snap-on blue vinyl boot cover, pinstriping, rear fender skirts, fender-mounted turn signal monitors, and hideaway headlights.
