1968 Fiat 500

1968 Fiat 500 F 499CC Restored In 2018 This 1968 Fiat 500 F captures everything enthusiasts love about Italy's most iconic city car—simple, charming, and endlessly fun to drive. Fully restored in 2021 and upgraded with a remanufactured Fiat 110F 499cc 2-cylinder engine, this tiny classic delivers a lively 18 horsepower, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission that makes every cruise a hands-on, vintage driving experience. Unlike many European-market Cinquecentos, this one is left-hand drive, making it especially easy to enjoy on American roads. Finished in a rich Blu Scuro (Dark Blue), the car presents beautifully with just the right amount of classic Italian flair. The bright red and white vinyl interior adds a bold contrast and stays true to the cheerful personality these cars are known for. The cabin remains simple and uncluttered—fitting for a 500 F—with a factory-style no-radio setup, which only enhances the period-correct feel. A vinyl roll-back sunroof completes the experience, allowing for open-air enjoyment and giving the little Fiat its beloved classic silhouette. Riding on 12-inch steel wheels with Porta Wall whitewalls, this car looks as charming as it drives. Suspension comes from a transverse leaf spring setup in the front and independent suspension in the rear, delivering the famously nimble, lightweight feel these cars are known for. Drum brakes at all four corners and a single exhaust keep things authentically vintage while still performing as they should. The car shows minor imperfections, as expected from a driver-quality classic, and the photos provide a clear view of its overall condition. It holds a clean New Jersey title, and everything about its presentation suggests an honest, well-cared-for classic ready for weekend cruising, local shows, or simply enjoying around town. Small, simple, stylish, and incredibly fun, this Fiat 500 F is a wonderful entry point into the world of classic European motoring—a car that always draws smiles and turns heads wherever it goes. Fun, easy to maintain, and ready to enjoy! South Jersey Classics is a 10,000-square-foot classic and specialty collector automobile dealer, featuring 50+ vehicles.
