1968 Ford Mustang

Introduced in 1964 and redesigned for 1967, the Ford Mustang helped define the pony car segment with a combination of sporty styling, broad engine choices, and extensive options. By the 1968 model year refresh, the Mustang was offered in convertible, coupe, and fastback body styles, and received a range of performance-oriented V8 engines, including the J-Code 302ci V8.

This 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe is powered by a replacement 302ci V8 paired with a three-speed Select-Shift Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and is accompanied by documentation dating back to 1973 when the seller's mother acquired the car.

This Mustang coupe was refinished in 2002 in its current metallic dark red over a reupholstered tan and red interior. The seller reports that the starter, water and fuel pumps, and various other components have been replaced.
