This is a super solid C-Code original fastback with a correct cowl hood and R-Code Black Stripe. Connected to the period-correct 428 Cobra Jet R-Code motor is a Toploader 4-Speed manual transmission, and a 9” rear end with 389 gearing with Detroit lockers. The rear shocks have been upgraded as well to Viking dual adjustable for a dialed-in suspension adjustment. Chris Alston's power rack and pinion steering, power front disc brakes, MSD digital ignition, functional air induction system, and Fi-Tech fuel injection are just some of the necessary upgrades on this R-code Tribute. Painted Gloss White on the exterior and correct gloss black C-Stripe side vinyl and R-Code hood Stripe. 15” Magnum 500 wheels with Mickey Thompson rear tires are great for cruising on a highway and then hitting your local track or street race. The interior is quite stock with factory gauges, seating, and the original rare fold-down rear seating. It does have a Mini-Monster steering tachometer that is attached to the Ididit adjustable steering column, Jensen radio, and a custom center console with cupholders have also been added to aid in comfort. But with all strength relying on a solid and stout undercarriage, the entire underbody has been stripped down to its bare roots, and a factory coating of red oxide primer was applied. With hundreds of hours spent on the foundation it has a toy-like appearance and looks better than the day it rolled off the showroom floor. As always, if you're an extremely interested buyer and are not quite yet convinced about the condition of our vehicle, we not only welcome inspections but we encourage them! Please feel free to set up an appointment with any credible inspector and we'll be more than happy to put this car up on a lift for a thorough comprehensive inspection!Read Full Description
