The photos show a very clean, well-finished example with the right stance, polished 15-inch wheels, and a classic muscle-car presence that immediately stands out. The exterior has been fitted with a number of desirable Shelby-style touches, including a fiberglass hood with hood pins, front lower valance/spoiler treatment, quarter scoops, and a Shelby-style rear deck lid treatment. Up front, the car features a Mustang grille with integrated GT fog lamps, while the side profile is finished with G.T. 350 rocker graphics. The body lines appear straight, the paint has a deep gloss, and the presentation is enhanced by chrome trim, chrome mirrors, and a clean, purposeful stance. Power comes from a modified 289ci V8 backed by a C4 automatic transmission. Per the provided information, the engine is equipped with ported heads, stainless valves, screw-in studs, guide plates, heavy-duty springs, a Holley 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock high-flow fuel pump, MSD ignition components, and ceramic-coated headers. The engine bay photos also show a tidy, well-detailed compartment with export brace and bracing upgrades, polished components, and an overall clean appearance. Cooling and drivability upgrades include Classic Air air conditioning, an upgraded radiator and electric fan setup, and a long list of supporting mechanical improvements. The underside photos show a clean chassis presentation along with a dual exhaust system with H-pipe, upgraded suspension components, and a nicely finished undercarriage. The car is also equipped with power steering, front disc brakes, and new rear drum brakes, helping make it much more enjoyable on the road. Inside, the cabin has a tasteful custom look while still respecting the vintage Mustang feel. The photos show black bucket seats, a center console, wood-rim steering wheel, and a brushed aluminum JME instrument panel housing AutoMeter white-face gauges. The dash includes a Carroll Shelby signature panel, and the center stack retains a classic appearance with a Mustang-branded USA-2 radio that adds modern audio capability with iPod/MP3 connectivity. The floor shifter and console setup work well with the automatic transmission, and the interior presents as clean and driver-focused. The rear compartment has been finished with a custom upholstered panel and rear speaker setup, and the trunk is detailed with a fitted plaid mat and spare tire cover for a finished, show-quality appearance. Also shown in the photos are the owner's manual, documentation, restoration photo album, and a Marti Report, which adds useful background on the car's factory origins. The included Marti Report indicates this Mustang was originally built as a 1968 Mustang Fastback at Dearborn, finished in Candyapple Red, and equipped with a 302-4V engine and C4 Cruise-O-Matic transmission from the factory. The report also references a scheduled build date of March 22, 1968, along with additional factory ordering information. Altogether, this is a very appealing 1968 Mustang Fastback that blends classic fastback styling with Shelby-inspired looks, upgraded performance components, modern comfort features, and extensive supporting documentation. It offers the visual impact of a GT350-style build with the comfort and drivability of a thoughtfully upgraded restomod.
