1968 MG MGB Mk II

This MGB is here on consignment from a friend of our dealership's owner. She recently lost her father to old age and wants the car to go to a new home. Hence this super well-sorted Roadster is for sale.

The original owner, a carpet salesman, bought it brand new at Crest Motors on East Colfax in Denver to have fun driving it in the summer up the mountain roads west of Denver. In 1997 our seller's father bought it from the second owner and drove it to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where it was only driven in the summer. The daughter tells us he waited for five rainfalls each Spring to wash off the Minnesota roads before taking it out.

She recalls the car was "somewhat" restored in 2010 or 2011, with the engine rebuilt and the car repainted.

I must say that most MGB's we have come through our operation lack that dependable feel - not this one. This MGB is a real get-in-and-drive-it without wondering if a tow truck needs to follow you.
