1968 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback

This 1968 Plymouth Barracuda fastback has been refurbished and modified with the installation of a 340ci V8, which is augmented by an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Carter carburetor, an aluminum radiator, Hedman headers, and a dual exhaust system. The three-speed automatic transmission has an aftermarket cooler, and a limited-slip differential is fitted inside a Dana 60 rear end. Staggered-diameter American Racing wheels are mounted over four-wheel disc brakes, and tubular front control arms, adjustable front coilovers, and rack-and-pinion steering have been adapted. The black-on-black car also features frame connectors, front bucket seats, a center console, Rallye-style gauges, an AM radio, and a fold-down rear seat. The current owner purchased the car in 2024. This fastback Barracuda is now offered in Canada on dealer consignment with New Brunswick registration. Finished from the factory in Ember Gold Metallic (J), the car was repainted in black during a refurbishment that was conducted at some point under prior ownership. Exterior equipment includes twin inset grilles, round side-marker lights, a driver-side mirror, a flip-up fuel cap, bright trim, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers. The seller notes areas of raised paint behind the quarter windows on both sides of the body.
