1968 Plymouth Road Runner

Vehicle Description 1968 Plymouth Road Runner $60,000 "This ain't a polished show pony-this is raw, blue-collar Mopar muscle the way it was meant to be. The 1968 Plymouth Road Runner was built to do one thing: go fast without the fluff. No gimmicks, no luxury nonsense-just big block power, steel, and attitude. And this one delivers that punch straight to the pavement. Under the hood sits what's believed to be the original 383 Big Block, backed by what's said to be the numbers matching 727 Torqueflite automatic. We're digging into verification, but either way, this thing runs like a proper Road Runner should-strong, loud, and ready to move. Out back, it's got the legendary 8¾ rear with Sure Grip and aggressive 3.91 gears, so when you hit it, it doesn't hesitate-it plants and goes. Finished in killer Sunfire Yellow with a black vinyl top, this car doesn't blend in-it jumps out and dares people to look away. Sitting on 14"" Magnum 500 wheels, it's got that perfect period-correct stance that screams late-'60s street dominance. Inside, it stays true to its roots. Black vinyl bench seats front and rear, black carpet, no frills-just clean, simple, and honest. Exactly how these cars were built. Pop the trunk and you've still got the full-size spare, jack, and tire iron-because this thing was made to be driven, not trailered. Manual steering, no A/C, and drum brakes on all four corners-but don't get it twisted. The brakes are dialed in and stop straight, and the steering is surprisingly easy to work with. It's mechanical, connected, and unapologetically analog. This is the kind of car that reminds you why muscle cars mattered in the first place. No fluff. No filters. Just pure Road Runner attitude.
