1968 Porsche 912

Description1968 Porsche 912 Coupe Milford Auto Mall Sales & Service is proud to present this beautifully preserved and highly sorted 1968 Porsche 912 Coupe, finished in a timeless White exterior over a Black interior. With its classic long-hood styling, lightweight construction, and engaging air-cooled performance, the 912 has become one of the most desirable entry points into vintage Porsche ownership. Powered by its original 1.6L air-cooled flat-four engine paired with a manual transmission, this 912 has recently undergone a complete engine rebuild, with fewer than 500 miles driven since completion. The engine starts effortlessly, runs exceptionally well, and delivers the balanced, responsive driving experience that has made the 912 a favorite among Porsche enthusiasts worldwide. This example retains its original interior, which remains remarkably well preserved and beautifully complements the classic White exterior. Adding a subtle sporting touch are the Porsche seat belts, enhancing both the appearance and driving experience while maintaining the car’s authentic character. The paint is reported to be original, further adding to this car’s originality and collector appeal. Mechanically, this Porsche has been extensively sorted and thoughtfully maintained. The Solex carburetors have been professionally rebuilt and synchronized, the entire electrical system has been professionally rewired, and a new muffler with a chrome tailpipe has been installed. Steering precision has been enhanced with the desirable 930-style tie rod upgrade, while a tasteful Rennline roof rack completes the classic touring appearance. The 1968 Porsche 912 represents one of the most sought-after years of the long-hood era, offering the iconic styling of the early 911 with lighter weight, exceptional balance, and a driving experience that rewards every mile. As air-cooled Porsche values continue to climb, well-preserved and mechanically sorted examples like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Whether you’re adding it to a growing Porsche collection, searching for a classic weekend driver, or looking for an investment-quality vintage sports car, this 1968 Porsche 912 is ready to be driven, shown, and enjoyed for years to come.
