1969 Chevrolet Camaro 427/480HP BB V8 M22 4 spd Custom Convertible

West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautiful example of this stylishly customized with no expense spared all American classic muscle car - a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible in 'Matte Black' (from it's original Tuxedo Black) with it's original factory 'Black Houndstooth' bucket seats interior and boasting a new crate ZZ427/480HP V8 engine (the modern take on the L88) with less than 500 miles on the build and which is matched to a 4 speed M22 'Muncie' 'rock crusher' close ratio manual transmission with 12 bolt rear end and boasting a cowl hood, R/S kit including headlamps & tail lights, power steering, power windows, tilt steering, front & rear spoilers & vintage air conditioning! This is an original X22 SS396 with style trim Big Block car with the D80 Air Spoiler Equipment which has been custom restored with no expense spared and which now boasts a new ZZ427/480HP crate engine. The L88 427 had been the ultimate expression of Chevys production Big-Block power, combining a rigid iron cylinder block with lightweight aluminum cylinder heads and a single 4 barrel carburetor. The ZZ427/480 features the latest-generation in big block casting with four-bolt main caps, an all-forged rotating assembly for exceptional strength and durability, and a hydraulic roller camshaft instead of the original L88s flat-tappet cam, for greater drivability and a broader performance range. It also features aluminum oval-port cylinder heads with 2.19/1.88-inch valves and a pump-gas-friendly 10.0:1 compression ratio. Todays' engineers have recreated a modern take on the classic L88 with that classic, raspy rat engine, but with updated components that enhance both drivability and performance!Whether you're looking for a 69 COPO Camaro resto-mod tribute, a modified mid-year Corvette or a street-tire class winner, this heritage-inspired crate engine delivers the performance that built the Big-Blocks legendary reputation.TECH SPECSEngine Type: Chevy Big-Block V-8Displacement (cu in): 427Bore x Stroke (in): 4.250 x 3.750Block (P/N 19170538): Cast-iron with 4-bolt main capsCrankshaft (P/N 19171620): Forged steelConnecting Rods (P/N 19211226): Forged steelPistons (P/N 19171618): Forged aluminumCamshaft Type (P/N 12366543): Hydraulic rollerValve Lift (in): .527 intake / .544 exhaustCamshaft Duration (@.050 in): 224 intake / 234 exhaustCylinder Heads (P/N 19331423): Aluminum oval port, 110cc chambersValve Size (in): 2.190 intake / 1.880 exhaustCompression Ratio: 10.1:1Rocker Arms (P/N 19210726): Aluminum roller styleRocker Arm Ratio: 1.7:1Distributor (P/N 88961867): HEI typeCarburetor (P/N 19170093): 770-cfmWater Pump (P/N 19168602): Aluminum short-styleFlexplate (P/N 12561217): 14"Recommended Fuel: Premium pumpIgnition Timing: 36 Total at 4,000 rpmMaximum Recommended rpm: 6,400Balanced: InternalIntake Manifold (P/N 12363406): Dual PlaneThe car is very striking with a no expense spared recent restoration in a 'Matte Black' finish with it's original 'Black Houndstooth' interior and with power front disc brakes, power steering, power windows, tilt & 'Vintage' air conditioning on a razor straight body.
