Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro convertible was acquired by the seller in 2005 and subsequently modified with a Hardcore Midtown 427ci small-block V8 linked with a Keisler-modified Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission and a Currie 9″ rear axle. The car received a bare-metal repaint as part of the build, and additional work and upgrades were completed related to the car’s suspension, wheels, and interior as well as the electrical, cooling, exhaust, and braking systems as detailed below. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, RS-style hideaway headlights, a cowl-induction hood, 17″ American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels, Hydratech Hydroboost four-wheel disc brakes, Hotchkis suspension components, power steering, a rear spoiler, a Hurst shifter, and center console auxiliary gauges. This Camaro convertible is now offered with build records and photographs, a seller-provided build summary, additional literature, and a clean Florida title in the name of the seller’s LLC. The body was stripped to bare metal, repaired, and sand-blasted before it was primed and refinished in Garnet Red (52) with with black SS-style stripes and clear coat. Features include a black convertible soft top, a cowl-induction hood, RS-style hideway headlights, faux rear fender louvers, a rear spoiler, and chrome bumpers. The windshield was replaced in October 2006, and additional replacement exterior components are listed on included invoices.
