Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was the subject of a custom build under prior ownership that involved the installation of a 489ci stroker V8 along with a TBS 6-71 supercharger, dual QFT carburetors, and a Tremec five-speed manual transmission linked to a Ford 9″ rear end with a Currie Enterprises TwinTrac differential. The body was repainted in House of Kolor Brandywine and modified with shaved doors and side markers as well as smoothed and painted bumpers and an RS-style grille with Detroit Speed electric headlight motors. Chassis modifications include tubular front control arms, tubular subframe connectors, an adjustable rear four-link setup, adjustable coilovers, and power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. Inside, a roll bar is installed behind the front bucket seats, and appointments include a Hurst shifter, an aftermarket steering wheel, racing-style harnesses, and AutoMeter gauges. The car is also equipped with an aluminum radiator, dual electric cooling fans, MSD ignition, coated Dougs headers, and polished U.S. Mags 17″ and 18″ alloy wheels. This modified Camaro was purchased by the owner in 2024 and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a Florida title in the owner’s name. Originally yellow, the body was repainted in candy House of Kolor Brandywine tri-coat paint during the build, which involved shaving the door handles and side markers. The cowl hood has a hole to clear the supercharger, the body-color bumpers have been smoothed, and the RS-style grille has a Detroit Speed electric headlight-door conversion. Additional equipment includes a rear spoiler, dual side mirrors, and RS and SS badges. The seller notes the door glass, rear quarter glass, and rear window were replaced.
