Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 coupe was initially delivered to Humphrey Chevrolet of Cleveland, Ohio. Per the previous owner, it underwent a restoration at American Muscle Cars, Inc in California before 2007, and it was subsequently acquired by the Ken Lingenfelter Collection and has been primarily displayed since. It is finished in gold with black stripes and powered by a 302ci V8 linked with a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and a PosiTraction differential with 3.73:1 gears. Further equipment includes a Cross-Ram induction system with dual four-barrel carburetors along with 15″ Rally wheels, JL8 high-performance brakes, chrome bumpers, front and rear spoilers, auxiliary gauges, an AM radio, black vinyl upholstery, and a Hurst shifter. The car sold on BaT in October 2024 and was subsequently acquired by its current owner, who installed headers and a new exhaust system. This Camaro Z/28 coupe was later offered on BaT in September 2026, and it is now offered again with a Protect-O-Plate, a show board, removed manifolds, a car cover, and a Michigan title. The body left the factory finished in Olympic Gold, and it is believed to have been placed on a rotisserie and repainted during the refurbishment. Details include a cowl-induction hood, black rally stripes, front and rear spoilers, and chrome bumpers with overriders. Restoration photos are presented in the 2024 listing.
