With a muscular, tough design and numerous potent GM V8 engine options, it is no surprise that even more than 50 years after its debut, the Chevelle reigns supreme as one of the most sought after of all the muscle cars. This 1969 Chevelle is one of the most sought after of the year, equipped with the famed SS package, paired with a 396ci V8 and a 4 speed manual gearbox.Finished in Butternut Yellow with black side stripes and a black vinyl roof, this Chevelle has been subject to a frame-off restoration, resulting in a vehicle that presents truly fantastically. The vinyl roof is a very period-correct element, and works well with the silver and black two-tone SS wheels with a chrome trim ring. Subtle SS 396 badging is present on the front fenders, and a pair of power bulges in the hood are the only things giving away what lies beneath the hood.Open the door and you are met by a pair of high-back black vinyl bucket seats up front, and a vinyl bench in the rear. A column sits between the two front seats with Hurst shifter topped by a white shift ball, for a great connection to the gearbox. In front of the driver is a two-spoke steering wheel with a wrapped rim for additional grip, and frames a trio of deeply hooded gauges. In the center console, sits a period-looking head unit with modern capabilities and upgraded speakers, and the car is fitted with air conditioning!Under the hood sits the numbers matching JA-code 396ci V8 that produces 325 horsepower and breathes through a dual exhaust system. This is backed up by a 4-speed manual gearbox, sending power to the rear wheels. For easier driving, power steering is fitted, along with power disc brakes. For what many consider to be the ultimate muscle car, finding one with the numbers matching 396ci V8 and a 4-speed manual is no small task. This example has all the difficult restoration already completed, and is ready for you to start driving today.*Additional Information* * Recent Servicing * Oil Change * Coolant Flush * Restoration InvoicesFor more information on this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 Sport Coupe or any of our other Luxury, Exotic, Sports, and Special Interest cars in our inventory contact our friendly and knowledgeable sales team or, if you are local to us, call and schedule a visit to our 40,000+ sq. ft. of Indoor Showrooms in Bellevue, WA - Home of an Exciting Inventory of Luxury, Exotic, High Performance, and Collectible Automobiles.
