1969 Chevrolet Malibu Original Engine, Cold A/C

Vehicle Description 1969 Chevrolet Malibu $49,969 1969 Chevrolet Malibu, Frost Green, Original 307 V8 and Working Factory Air Conditioning This 1969 Chevrolet Malibu is an attractive and honest classic that combines distinctive period colors, its original small-block V8 engine, working factory air conditioning, and several tasteful upgrades. It runs and looks good, making it an excellent candidate for weekend cruising, local car shows, and regular enjoyment. The Malibu is finished in beautiful Frost Green with a matching green vinyl top. This classic color combination gives the car a distinctive late-1960s appearance that stands apart from the more commonly seen red, black, and blue muscle cars. The exterior is complemented by a green cloth interior featuring its original bench seat and column-mounted shifter. Under the hood is the car’s original 307-cubic-inch V8 engine, now equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, upgraded intake manifold, and headers. These improvements help the small-block Chevrolet breathe more efficiently while retaining the dependable, easy-to-maintain character that makes the 307 such a practical classic-car engine. One of this Malibu’s most desirable features is its factory air-conditioning system, which is currently working. That makes this classic considerably more comfortable during warm-weather cruising. The original bench-seat and column-shift arrangement also provides the roomy and relaxed driving experience for which the Malibu was known. A set of 20-inch US Mags wheels gives the car a strong, contemporary stance and a tasteful modern touch. The wheels complement the Frost Green paint while adding to the Malibu’s clean and distinctive overall appearance. This is an attractive driver-quality classic rather than a flawless restored show car. It does have some minor rust in the common lower body areas and near the bottom edges of the vinyl top. These areas should be considered when evaluating the car, but they do not take away from its appeal as a good-looking, running, and enjoyable Malibu. With its original 307 V8, working factory air conditioning, great color combination, comfortable bench-seat interior, and upgraded 20-inch US Mags wheels, this 1969 Chevrolet Malibu offers plenty of classic style and usability. It is ready to be enjoyed as it sits while also leaving room for future cosmetic improvements.
