Description
This 1969 Dodge Charger was customized for use in the 2011 film Fast Five , appearing in scenes set throughout Rio de Janeiro. Power comes from a 426ci Hemi V8 with a dual-quad setup, and it is linked to an A727 three-speed automatic transmission. The car rides on 20” multi-piece wheels with Wilwood front disc brakes and line lock, and the interior has been outfitted with a roll cage, Beard racing seats, bead-rolled aluminum panels, and AutoMeter gauges. Other highlights include matte gray paint, a mesh grille, a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, Koni dampers, and a JAZ Products fuel cell. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, this custom Charger is now offered in Florida with an Ohio title. The car is finished in matte gray with a black lift-off hood secured by exposed pins. The flip-up fuel filter, exterior hardware, and trim are also satin black. The selling dealer notes that the trunk lid does not latch, and weights have been added to hold it down.
