Description
This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II 2+2 left the factory finished in British Racing Green over Beige leather and was delivered new to San Jose British Cars in California. Chassis 1R40620BW was acquired by the current owner in 2019 and relocated to Texas, where it underwent over $12k of work at Specialty Car Solutions of Houston, Texas, in 2026 that included rebuilding its dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors as well as servicing its disc brakes. The car rides on 15″ wire wheels and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. It is further equipped with a louvered clamshell hood and sealed-beam open headlights along with a wood-rimmed steering wheel, air conditioning, and a Retrosound radio. This XKE 2+2 is now offered on dealer consignment by M. Brandon Motorcars — a BaT Local Partner —at no reserve with a window sticker, owner’s and service manuals, two Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificates, recent service records, tools, spare parts, and a clean Texas title. Finished from the factory in British Racing Green, the car features a louvered clamshell hood, sealed-beam open headlights, and wraparound chrome bumpers with overriders.
