Description
This 1969 Lancia Fulvia Rallye 1,6 HF is a left-hand-drive Series I example finished in Amaranto Montebello over a black interior. It is the 158th built out of a production run of 1,278 developed for homologation purposes. Records indicate that it was sold new in Genoa, Italy, and previous owners include an Italian Fiat dealer and a Monégasque collector. A restoration was reportedly performed in the late 1990s, and the car has participated in the 2002 and 2017 Rallye Monte Carlo Historiques. Power is supplied by a 1.6-liter narrow-angle V4 paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, and it was modified with a bolt-in roll bar, rally-style timers, Cibie auxiliary lights, and a fire extinguisher. This Fanalone was listed on BaT in October 2018 and, following its recent acquisition by 1600Veloce, a BaT Local Partner , it was offered on BaT in August 2026 . It is now offered again at no reserve in New York with spare parts and a Montana title. The Fulvia Coupe was designed in-house by Piero Castagnero and saw early racing success with a class win at the Targa Florio in 1966. For 1969, following the development of the 1.6-liter engine, Fulvias won both the San Remo and Royal Automobile Club international rallies. They also placed in the top six for the Alpine, Monte Carlo, and Swedish rallies.
