Description
KEY FACTS This W109-generation Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 is a rare and highly desirable luxury performance saloon, celebrated for its combination of opulent comfort and potent V8 power. It is powered by a 6.3-litre ‘M100’ naturally aspirated V8, driving the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. First registered in 1969, this 300 SEL 6.3 was originally a US-delivered model, which was imported and first registered in the UK in June 2026. A Mercedes-Benz document dated July 2026 confirms that the car was right-hand-drive from the factory. It is just one of 702 right-hand-drive examples produced. The odometer indicates 90,432 miles, though this is not warranted. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This W109-era 300 SEL 6.3 is finished in red over a matching red leather-trimmed interior with wood veneer trim accents. It rides on 14-inch Bundt ‘Mexican hat’ alloy wheels fitted with Milestar Touring SLE whitewall tyres. Equipment includes a top-tinted windscreen, a two-spoke steering wheel, an analogue clock, electric windows, a Becker Europa radio, an air conditioning system, and push-out front quarter light windows. This example has been fitted with a Magnaflow exhaust system with a cross-over. Accompanied by the current V5C, a copy of the original data card and factory build record, a dating certificate, original sales literature, an original owner's manual, a copy of the US certificate of title, a few maintenance invoices, import documents, and two keys. CONDITION Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the car was originally black and has been repainted red at some point, with the paintwork now showing some bleaching. The most recent MOT test was on 28 September 2026 at an indicated 90,425 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories. SERVICE HISTORY The seller states that the air suspension and braking systems were overhauled by or for the previous owner, with new disc
