1970 Chevrolet Camaro

502 cubic inch big block | qa1 adjustable suspension | tci built 4l80e transmission *** No canadian luxury tax *** Near the top of every list of best muscle cars is the legendary chevy camaro, especially rare in 1970, a shortened model year kicking off the second generation of camaro. With groundbreaking new styling, the 1970 camaro represented a step forward in styling, with handling and performance to go along with it. This original rs/ss 396 camaro was a rare and desirable package when new, and this restomod has taken it to the next level. This show quality 1970 camaro rs/ss represents the best of what chevy offered from the factory, and much, much more. This original-panel, rotisserie restored citrus green edition rides on stock 15 inch rally wheels, not tipping its' hand as to what else is going on in and under this beast. Body panel fit is excellent, as is the attention to detail in the quality of the paint, trim and accessories. This car looks incredible from ten feet away, and even better the closer you look. The details on this restoration get even better the closer you look, with a beautifully detailed undercarriage with correct red-oxide finish, correct fasteners and fantastic fit and finish everywhere. Modern equipment from front to rear transforms this car from a parking lot looker into a street racing badass. At the center of it all is a zz502 502 cubic inch aluminum headed big block chevy crate engine. This 500 plus horsepower engine sends loads of torque to a tci build 4l80e transmission, and then to the tires by way of an upgraded, 3.73 geared posi-track 12-bolt differential. When the next corner comes up, billet adjustable suspension components from qa1 let you toss this camaro at the apex way harder than they ever could back in the day. Sit inside, and you are greeted by a full compliment of factory gauges, plus an added air fuel ratio monitor. The one-year only, correct 1970 seats are upholstered in stock black vinyl, and the rest of the interior shows beautifully. Fit and finish in the car are so good, it feels like you are rolling off the lot with a brand new car. The whole package combines to create a killer resto-mod machine that combines the best of both worlds, the look, feel and style of the 70's with performance and handling better than they could ever imagine when the car was new. This camaro is ready to do it all; win shows, turn heads on the street, cruise for hours, and haul ass any time you put your foot down.1970 chevrolet camaro rs/ss restomod502 cubic inch big block chevy crate enginealuminum heads, forged pistons, rods and crankshafthydraulic roller camshaft and valvetraintci built 4l80e transmissionqa1 adjustable suspensionstunning restorationthis vehicle is presented by sherwood motorcars located at 155-3001 buckingham drive, sherwood park, ab t8h 0x5.
