Description
This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle sport coupe was acquired by the seller’s father in 1990 and was subsequently modified and refurbished, with most of the work being completed between 2000 and 2005. Finished in black with white rally stripes over black vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a Keith Black 555ci big-block V8 linked to a Richmond six-speed manual transmission and a 12-boltPosiTraction rear axle. Equipment includes Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, Hotchkis suspension components, QA1 coilovers, 18″ Budnik billet wheels, an aluminum fuel cell, Hooker headers, electric exhaust cutouts, and a high-rise cowl hood. The cabin is outfitted with Procar front bucket seats, AutoMeter instrumentation, and an aftermarket stereo system with a trunk-mounted CD changer. This modified Chevelle is now offered with a Nevada title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in black with white rally stripes and features SS 454-style badging, a high-rise cowl hood, locking hood pins, a black grille, and chrome bumpers. The fiberglass hood was installed under current ownership. Cracking is present in sections of the paint finish.
