Description
The first-generation Ford Bronco has become one of the most sought-after vintage 4x4s, and this 1970 U-100 example is the product of a comprehensively documented restoration carried out between 2017 and 2025. According to its accompanying Marti Report, it was built at the Michigan Truck Plant in October 1969 and finished in Diamond Blue over Parchment Rosette vinyl with a factory 302 V8 and a 3-speed manual transmission, reportedly one of 229 Broncos produced in its paint code and 169 with its exact paint-and-trim combination. Now finished in blue over a white interior, it features a fully rebuilt 302 V8, a 2.5" suspension lift, power steering and front disc-brake conversions, and polished 15" wheels. It is now being offered for auction in Massachusetts on a clean title.
The truck is finished in blue and rides on polished 15" Vintage-style wheels mounted with off-road tires that the seller describes as having excellent tread. It features a white-painted removable hardtop and a San Felipe tube front bumper, and a 2.5" suspension lift was installed in 2025 with new leaf and coil springs, lift blocks, and a corrected driveshaft and transfer-case yoke. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the cabin features a white interior with billet door-sill plates bearing Bronco script, a wood-rimmed three-spoke billet steering wheel, a replacement dash pad, and an upgraded instrument cluster with a new tachometer and LED gauge and dash lighting. A full Centech wiring harness was installed during the restoration.
