I 100% agree but no more garage space (all 7 bays full at home) tends to be a challenge for obsessive car people! Plus I have 6 in winter storage!! Maybe I should seek appropriate automotive therapy! We don't have any reason to believe (or suspicion) it would fail the drive BUT there's always a chance with a 56 year old car. That said, this is a top contender on the short list. ThanksFebruary 23rd, 2026 at 4:00pm ESTctoiii (0) 0Seller any reason to believe you couldn’t fly in and drive this 1000 miles?February 23rd, 2026 at 3:58pm EST$8,100 bid placed by @BirchTreeFebruary 23rd, 2026 at 3:54pm EST$7,850 bid placed by @MamaliFebruary 23rd, 2026 at 3:52pm EST$7,600 bid placed by @1PanzerFebruary 23rd, 2026 at 3:10pm EST$7,350 bid placed by @Dhelms88February 23rd, 2026 at 2:54pm EST$7,000 bid placed by @BirchTreeFebruary 23rd, 2026 at 2:48pm ESTShawnireland (2) 0Thanks! No smoke to speak of during our drives and start ups. It's a happy 108. February 22nd, 2026 at 8:03pm ESTMamali (1) 1Any leaks from sunroof? Operate? Does the car smoke?February 22nd, 2026 at 9:48am EST$4,196 bid placed by @EnjoyLife69February 20th, 2026 at 1:59pm EST$3,946 bid placed by @LittlejoeFebruary 19th, 2026 at 3:28pm ESTBryanZurlo (4) 0@GASMotorcars Thank you for the info! Any idea where the car has spent its life?February 19th, 2026 at 12:44pm ESTGASMotorcars (0) Seller 0@BryanZurlo Thanks for the note! In image 262 it seems the tow hook was used and the tension separated the panel making a crack. Image 293 details this better. There is also some corrosion seen in picture 262 presumably from water coming in through the crack. And we do see that spot on picture 273. That’s a pretty common area for water to collect on a W108. We don’t see any more signs of rust or we would have photographed it. With over 300 pictures I think we covered all of the car. Let us know if you need anything else uploaded in case we missed something! Thanks for reaching out.February 18th, 2026 at 8:27pm ESTBryanZurlo (4) 0On picture 262 there looks to be some rust, hard to tell from the picture, but is it rusted through? Also, there's a rust hole on the rear portion of the wheel well in picture 273, is there any other rust on the car?February 18th, 2026 at 1:58pm EST$3,696 bid placed by @Foti63February 17th, 2026 at 2:24pm EST$2,468 bid placed by @LfuselierFebruary 17th, 2026 at 6:47am ESTRockster80 (13) 1Beautiful car.
