It started out before the restoration as clean straight California car that had never been hit or rusted. It has all original panels and motor. Finished in the original color of Competition Blue 3657-A. The motor was rebuilt by a professional speed shop in California while the restoration was going on. It was sold by Dominator Street Rods in 2013 and went into a collection and was not used much. The mileage on the car is close to what it had on it when it was restored. From what I have been told and by looking at the underside of this car it hasn\'t been driven much since the restoration.I talked with the son of the collector that purchased the car at auction from Dominator Street Rods in 2013. He said that it went into his dad\'s collection and they took it out once in a while it exercise it. His dad sold the car because of health issues. It is an original laser straight Cougar Eliminator. There was no money spared on the restoration. The interior is in excellent condition as is the rest of this car. I have a lot of cars and I am starting a construction project on my appliance showroom. I haven\'t used this car much since I purchased it. I am selling it to allow me to borrow less money for this project. It is an amazing straight and clean Mercury Cougar Eliminator.
