Description
Introduced for the 1968 model year, the first-generation Plymouth Road Runner was designed to deliver straightforward performance in an affordable package. For 1970, the Road Runner received updated front-end styling and continued to offer a range of V8 powertrain options, including the high-performance 383ci four-barrel engine. Buyers could choose between two-door hardtop and convertible body styles, with a variety of factory options available.
This 1970 Plymouth Road Runner 2-door Hardtop Coupe is powered by a 383 cubic-inch High-Performance V8 paired with a three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Originally Lime Green, the car now wears red paint with black and yellow striping over a reupholstered black vinyl interior. Notable equipment includes the Air Grabber fresh-air hood, a center console and bucket seats, hood-mounted turn signal indicators, and a JVC CD player.
Built at Chrysler's Lynch Road Assembly Plant in Michigan, this '70 Road Runner has remained under current ownership since 1988.
This 1970 Plymouth Road Runner is now offered with a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
