Offered from The Thoroughbred Motorsports Collection of Dr. Karl Hens, this Type 901/38 flat-six is a genuine 2.0-liter 914/6 engine, carrying engine number 6405390. The 901/38 is the correct engine for American-market 914/6 restorations — an increasingly scarce unit given the limited total production of the 914/6. This specific engine currently comes equipped with 911E camshafts, however the original 914/6 camshafts are included.

The engine presents in used condition and represents an ideal candidate to be restored to the next owner's specifications.
