1970 Volkswagen Beetle Base

This 1970 Volkswagen Beetle is a solid, sorted driver with real show credentials. It took five of six shows it entered, picking up Best VW, Best Paint, and Finest Rat Rod along the way. The 1600cc has been gone through and is running strong. It has electronic ignition, new pushrod tubes, a cleaned and reset carburetor, fresh plugs, wires, and coil, plus an upgraded header exhaust that gives it a louder, more purposeful note than stock. It starts, runs, and drives tight. Inside is largely original and in very good shape, with new carpet. Outside, the paint is an intentional rat-rod treatment: sanded to bare metal, sealed with black epoxy, then painted and resanded for the look. No trailer queen—just a clean, running Beetle with character that has already proven it can win awards.
