1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe

This 1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia coupe was initially sold through Volkswagen of Gastonia in North Carolina, and spent time in the state through the seller’s acquisition in 2024. Finished in Irish Green over tan and plaid upholstery, it is powered by an air-cooled 1.6L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a single downdraft carburetor, single-port cylinder heads, KYB GR-2 dampers, front disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels, pop-out rear quarter windows, chrome bumpers, a cabin heater, and crank windows. The interior was retrimmed under current ownership. This Karmann Ghia coupe shows 87k miles and is offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, hand-written service and fuel economy records, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in aged Irish Green (L60E). Exterior details include a driver-side mirror, bright trim, pop-out rear quarter windows, a vented decklid, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The windshield is cracked, the left quarter panel has a ding, and close-up photos of blemishes in the paint can be viewed in the gallery.
