Description
This custom 1971 Chevrolet C10 short-bed pickup is powered by a BluePrint 427ci LS3-based stroker V-8 engine producing over 600hp, paired with a heavy-duty 4L80E automatic transmission and Currie Ford 9-inch rear axle. The engine features a CVF serpentine accessory drive with power steering and air conditioning. Cooling is provided by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The restored engine compartment is finished in gloss black and features billet hood hinges, a Wilwood master cylinder and an Optima RedTop battery. It rides on staggered Schott billet wheels measuring 20x9 inches in front and 22x12 inches in the rear, finished with Cerakote Cobalt Gray faces and gloss-black barrels. Braking is handled by Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with six-piston front calipers and red calipers at all four corners. The exterior is finished in Tuxedo Black and GM Linen White two-tone paint with red accents, 1968-style lower body moldings and custom 1972-style upper moldings. Additional features include smooth boltless bumpers, a chrome grille, pro-touring mirrors and Vannatta anodized-black billet door handles. The rear features one-piece All American Billet LED taillights and one-off billet Chevrolet tailgate letters machined by Elite Machine. The bed has a high-gloss black floor, while the relocated fuel tank is mounted beneath the bed with access through a Fat Fender fuel door. The custom bright-red interior was completed by Burton Upholstery using Partners upholstery materials, Alcantara and houndstooth accents. Custom Slosh Tubz buddy-bucket seating includes a folding center console with concealed Alcantara-lined storage. Interior appointments include custom door panels, a dash pad with billet air-conditioning vents, a one-piece headliner and matching SewCal kick panels. The dashboard features Ringbrothers billet gauge-cluster and glove box components, Dakota Digital instrumentation and an Ididit tilt steering column. A SPARC billet steering wheel wrapped in bright-red Alcantara completes the interior. The truck has just over 200 test miles since completion.
