Description
Description1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu ConvertibleThe Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile which was produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. This car retains nearly everything it had the day it left the dealership. It even has the original bumper sticker/decal from the Pittsfield, Massachusetts dealer it was purchased from! This Chevelle has had two owners in its lifetime and was kept as a family weekend cruiser. It was very well taken care of and never abused! This car has never been in an accident from what we understand. It is getting very difficult to find cars like this one that are unmolested making it a highly desirable and investment quality piece of history! This Chevelle was the second owner's very first car purchased back in 1981. It was owned by a school teacher from Pittsfield, MA, who purchased it brand new in 1971, and took very good care of it. After she purchased it, it was garage kept and preserved immaculately. She drove it to school her senior year of high school, throughout college, and quite sometime after that. Once she moved onto a smaller car, her father took it over and it became his 'Sunday afternoon pleasure car'.The car was repainted in the 80's (still keeping its original color) and the top and upholstery was replaced. He almost waxed the paint right off of it! When her father passed away, they downsized considerably which is why they wanted to sell the car. It has been in the family for 35 years and was enjoyed immensely by its owners. However, there is no reason why anyone else couldn't enjoy it for another 35 years so don't miss out, bid now before it's too late!Read Full Description
