1971 Chevrolet Corvette 454 Convertible

This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette 454 Convertible, finished in Brands Hatch Green with a Saddle Vinyl interior, offers a rare combination of classic style and big-block power. Under the hood, a period-correct 454 V8 7.4L LS5 Big Block engine delivers potent performance, paired with a VIN-matching Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels. Showing 65,235 miles (tmu), this Stingray convertible retains its iconic pre-'73 chrome bumpers and boasts a replacement Chevrolet 454 big-block V8 with engine suffix code CPD. The unique appeal of this Corvette is underscored by its production rarity. In 1971, only 7,121 Corvette convertibles were produced, with just 5,097 featuring the LS5 454 engine. The Brands Hatch Green exterior was applied to approximately 3,445 units, making this specific color, interior, and 4-speed manual drivetrain combination exceptionally uncommon. Recent service includes the installation of a new convertible top, refreshed interior components, and attention to the headlights, wipers, battery draw, antenna, and carpeting.
